New Grower purple cheese help

hi i recently got given some seeds and i thought they were autos.i planted five incase a few turned out male.im growing in a small diy growbox only about28"of grow space.theyre in 1 litre pots in soil under 4x100 watt cfls.they were 4 weeks old yesterday and no sign of preflowers.ive grown a couple of autos before and always got preflowers around week 3.i decided to flip to 12/12 to try and induce flowering ( i dont know if thars correct or not but i reaf it on this site so i thought id give it ago).anyway spoke to the person i got the seeds from and he says there NOT autos!!
id started lst'ing them in case they got big but now i know they gonna get big.
my questions are
1. when will i start to see preflowers?
2.when they start do i need to stop lst'ing?
3.how long from now should it be finished?
ive smoked the weed they came from and it was a kind of dark green brown/
purple colour and tasted strongly of some kind of cheese.i thought it maybe purple cheese so googled to get some info on strain height...time ect but could only find autos...
anybody that can give me any answers would be great.

1. Preflowers should come around I'd say 10-20 days after flip to 12/12
2.some people LST all the way through, others stop after the stretch it's all down to you on that one I think
3.should be finished in 8 weeks but I don't know the strain so could be 10.

they look nice and healthy though bro you should be fine just tie them down maybe even super crop a couple of branches.

and to be honest if you don't know 100 percent were the seed came from it maybe a needle in a haystack finding what specific strain, seed company ect...

If it is an auto there is no need to switch to 12/12.

Autos show sex around 14-20 days youll see pre flowers (or formation of bud sites) around day 25-35.

Lst you do as long as you feel you need to but normally its after vertical growth has stopped unless you have branches that are over shadowing other then you can lst to get better light coverage.

purple cheese auto should be done about 75-85 days

and idsi know thayre not autos...but i couldnt find any info on purple cheese that isnt auto so if anyonedoes have any info on photo purple chesse plese share iy

Purple Cheese... Auto Seeds Coompany it is a Autoflower Strain so i wouldnt switch to 12/12. Had it once in Dam as Buds very Potent Smoke for a Automatic.

Now that you've switched to. 12/12 don't add back on hours, regardless of it being an auto or not at this point you'd confuse it and potentially induce it Hermie.... Your good bro now.... Just keep on lst'ing until the end of the grow to manage your height space... You could also defoliate the bottom of the plants and sorta lollipop them... Maybe and throw a net over them and scrog it:...they are well into pre flower now by the look of the pic.... Sending a big :karma Cloud: of :gthumb: your way brother.

Tthere is no known purple chesse photo strain. I'm pretty sure its auto, where did you get the seeds anyway to check back with the seller? And like yoda said if ur on 12/12 keep it that way so u don't cause hermie issues or other stress.

thanks for that yoda.because theyre bagseed and im unsure of strain (although i have smoked the weed the seeds came from and it was good) ive been toying with the idea of just ripping em up n ordering some auto seeds cos at least that way i know im gonna get budsin about 10 weeks.but then half of me says out of 5 bagseeds ive gota get some yield even if a few turn out to male....
let me know what you'd do.......
