Normally, I'll start about 2 ft, maybe one, and watch the plant. Each plant is different, so you need to learn to read them. The closest the light is without causing any harm will be the ideal position.

Basically, you're looking for heat stress signs, like leaves curling up, etc. This is a wonderful tutorial on how to recognize heat/light stress.

Once you get to where you start noticing stress, you back out a bit and if it stops, that's your sweet spot. [emoji121] [emoji6]

Another thing that helps is training her so she has a flat canopy. That helps because you won't have one very tall branch touching the light, while the rest of the plant is way down there...

@Itisi is this light bleaching, how far away from canopy should the light be I thought no more than 20 cm

Still on my phone so can't see very well, looks like it could be.

Here what mine looked like.

The distance depends on your light. I've had plants 15cm from my Mars and be OK. This was around 30cm, Mars recommend about 45 I think. With led, if you get to close you don't get the colours blending.

@Itisi youve actually got white bud, where as my crown is more just piltils atm, very cool nd rare soft porn right there sire
