Q&A and Announcements

My original Horticultural Lighting group based light was built with pre-production , and a never released version built with CRI 90 LEDs. They were given to me at the time on condition I not tell about them. That was almost 6 years ago though. Most of those years, the lights ran either 24/7 or 20/4. In all that time they may have had 60 days of down time. THIS is why modern LED lights are worth paying more for. I had long since recovered my investment. I've given them to a family member. I set him up with the pots and my organic soil, I even gave him the seeds, Fast Buds green Crack. Turned out 4 really nice plants!

That's awesome man!!!

Any one running a 3x3 tent or even a 2x2, this is the light to have! Without a doubt you's have to dim it in a 2x2! I just bought one for my
32"x 32"x 60" tent to replace an autocob and a QB 324. I wanted to see if just one in that tent would be enough. Well it sure is. I have it about 16-18" above the plants ( didn't measure ) and I measured with my meter and I'm averaging 600 PPFD with the lowest reading in the right rear corner of 573 and 712 in the center. My plants are probably in shock! Nah, the other two lights were at about the same PPFD just not as good a spread.

Pic just doesn't capture how bright this light is!

So in a 2.5 x 2.5 plus at 18 inches MOL, you have about the same PPFD in one corner that you have in the center with a 288/120w?

@Les @HLG :smoking: -- hey my man, I know it's early, but I'm eyeing a light from you guys to get in April, likely w 420 deal which O hope is going to happen,... I need a 2nd QB for the 4x2, not necessarily the top model... I've looked at the R-Spec before, probably what I'm settling on....
Send feelers out to the Boss and find out what they may be offering please! :toke:
