Quick question...I have the option on using my 4 x 4 with a 1000 hps for flower only for my BHD and Shark bite...but I was wondering if I build a 5 x 5 diy tent I have a 8 bulb sunblaze t5ho and wanted to know if It would be enough light to veg and do seedlings while I flower 1 photo period beside them....trying to keep my 4 x 4 for flower and get the use of these free photo periods and if the sunblaze is powerful enough to veg on 12 12 I can kill 2 birds with one stone....and apologize if this post is off just got off a 12 hour shift and it's almost 5 am ....thanks in advanced everyone !

Is the question, Can I use a T5 light for veg?
Yes is the answer.
T5, Cfl, hps, mh or LED use either for the complete grow if you like. (Or the Sun of course... Lol)

2tubes 4000 lummens.

:dance: that's the way to go perpetual harvest! You can also throw autos into 12/12 without to much yield loss if you wait till they stop vertical growth... I myself use a 4bulb 2ft t5 for veg with fantastic results...
iv used a 150w red cfl throught my grow an i guessing ill get a good 2 1/2 oz off one plant under it, wishing you good karma brother, BARNSIE
My question is more of a sunblaze t5 on 12 12 for the first 4 weeks won't decrease my yield will it? I just don't wanna buy a whole tent and new lights just for 1 or 2 photo periods when I could kill two birds with one stone ...If yall think it won't hurt my autos ...and btw do you think 3 gal pits would be big enough for a draw auto like shark bite? I'm doing 5 gal paint buckets for the BHD
Over the course of 4 weeks, you will likely have diminished yields. You want to get them under the big lights in time for their growth spurt. T5 penetration is very lackluster on taller untrained plants. I would say 3 weeks at most.
