Whats up guys,I'm going to build a mini tea brewer but had a little question on feeding the microbes

Would i be able to get away with using Liquid W-8 in place of molasses? Its labeled as a microbe food and made out of molasses anyways so thought i might be able to save a buck or two since i already have a bottle of it lol

Amazon product ASIN B0077L8FYS

Well IMO, since it is an enhanced molasses essentially ,and some go a little crazy with molasses at times.so using too much might be an issue but I would think it would be fine if its a thicker substance.youll probably be alright.

ya buddy .no worries! always wipe the threads.LOL itll help a lot! well if its thinner,I would say mix a 50/50 with blackstrap persoanlly, but use it until you see issues to save a few bucks.but powdered molasses might be cheaper maybe?worth a look maybe. but id do believe a 50-50 mix of the two is your sweet spot or there abouts.
