My friend sent me some pics to see if he is ready to harvest

The main issue is that the top ones are developing faster than the other ones

So on top there is more orange and less on some sides and lower ones

Any advice please

This is an ak47 or maybe white widow ( seeds mixed up ) auto
At 11 weeks first grow attempt
Done in soil

They have been done in a tent

He is thinking of giving them some sun for a few days to see if they can even out the flowering a bit better

He fed them well watered and loved them but the buds are not that big

But he accepts what nature gives him as a gift

Got a few weeks remaining IMO. But if he can’t wait he can always chop the main cola and leave the lowers to finish.

Thanks that is what he says that’s it’s not ready but a bit concerned due to the top colas going very orange

Could it shock the plant to cut the top one
Any right techniques

In general how does the plant look

Few weeks away from making that decision..... but when you do, No shock and Incremental harvest is just fine..although your harvest window should extend for the lowers to catch up if needed ....I always top in veg just so my plant grows an even canopy with evenly matured nuggs. Don't grow many 'christmas tree' shapes since the harvest window is more narrow......
