I got it from amazon for $144, the seller is "gotham hydroponics"

Im confused because all the pics ive seen they are in black housing and mine is white.
Did they just change the color on newer models? Im thinking this may be the case because everything else looks to be legit.

Also i dont think its a big deal but when you hold the light with leds facing up the lense falls down onto the leds because it looks like the glue wasnt strong enough to hold it to the housing.
This shouldnt be an issue though because when the light is hanging like it will be used the lense just falls into place off of the leds and sits there.

It came in the box with just the light, power cord and hanging hardware. Nothing else.
No purchase statement or anything and was in a plain white box.

Here are pictures of the one i got.

yes it's a real blackstar the lighthouse logo is the one two look for I have a 135 watt from gotham, along with three other blackstars , also from gotham. I always called and talked to a guy named victor, he may not be there anymore? I don't know. but he would dicker with me and I always got a discount. I paid 150.00 my bs 135 burnt out after 5 years of use, I got another one at auction, refurbished with new led's for 50 dollars. on fleabay, gotham sells refurbs under the name lamour enterprises. I have replaced three bs panels, that all went five years, with these refurb's and I am always putting in low bids to try and get bs panels cheap. I also have a vipar reflector series and a cheap one called popular grow, that I paid 58 dollars for new. works very well and a good build. here is the results of these so called cheap panels........

everybody that goes out and buys a $1000.00 dollar panel will tell you how great it is, even if its no better than a 200.00 dollar panel, otherwise they will look like a fool.
