This morning I began reconstituting compressed coco. Unknown origin, probably coco-tek but NOT Canna. About 8 pounds went into a 15 gallon tub with tap water which tested out at 7.7 PH and an EC of .5 After thoroughly dissolving block in water creating a sort of slurry I test the PH and EC. Any guesses what the results might be? Did the PH go up or down? Did the EC go up or down?

My goal is to rinse the coco til it tests out to as close to the tap water as possible, reducing any guesswork as to how it will affect the nutes etc...

As inert as possible.

PH dropped to 5.9

EC went up to 1.1

Hey egg,
I don't buy the block stuff, though I should, it would be way cheaper. So I'm no help. However, Ronin does wash rinse and all that. You should hit him up. Hes cool as shit and can help you work out any details.

Thanx TWO,

I've been running my next batch of coco for over three weeks PH'd, little Cal/mag and ultra lite nutes in prep for next grow (heirloom tomatoes)(honest). I'd rather test my theories on tomatoes than waste a single MJ seed. Set up a modified RDWC system, outdoor. I've got this shit READY. Done my research. It was 75º here for the last two days and it was 'sunup to sundown' gardening. Need a manicure.

Sounds awesome egg man.
