Lighting Regular HPS bulbs vs. Hortilux HPS bulbs, any difference? What grows better

Hi, I thought I would ask the question , Is the standard HPS bulbs the same as the hortilux HPS bulbs, I know the hortilux HPS bulbs are more expensive than the standard HPS bulbs. Do both bulbs grow about the same, is there any difference, Are the Hortilux HPS bulbs worth the buy, Any experience in this matter, and or your comments are most welcome.

Have a looksy at this mate and if you cant find it for any reason the hortilux will give you about 10% more light mate

the hortilux HPS bulbs have more lumes than most standard hps bulbs... hortilux also makes a dual spectrum hps bulb...that is what I use for my indoor grows from start to fininsh...:thumbs:..:smokebuds:

i use magnetic ballast with my 1000w hortiilux with no problems. ive never did a side by side grow with my super hps and regular hps.

a standard ballast is fine...just make sure it's rated for what ever watt light your going to use..:thumbs:..:smokebuds:

I need the 400 watt---hps-----what is best from day 1 till harvest?--in all reality I had rather grow my stuff outside---sunpower---.this is just a backup of sorts.
