Harvest & Curing relaxed and easy way to dry sieve.

Yea, i just finished some Blue Dragon bubblehash I made about a year ago. Never again....... what a waste of good trim! I tried dry ice method and that works well, take some restraint not to shake too hard or too long, but damn dry ice is expensive here! So, now I'm trying dry sift and yep, seems the way to go! Wish I could get Everclear here though.............

Well i cant get dry ice here and cant get old xtinguishers.
I had a friend get me 1 bottle in maryland for me. Think i mentioned it once before, everclear made 189 proof tobeat the 190 law in maryland.
Stupid laws!!! smart company.

I use a mason jar 3/4 full of bud. Freeze the jar of bud and the everclear for at least 12 hours. Pour in the alcohol, leave a little airspace for shaking. Cap and shake for 60 seconds. Have a strainer and bowl handy beforehand, pour quickly into the bowl. I don't do second rinses, I think its a waste of everclear.... Pour from the bowl thru a filter, I like paper towel better than coffee filters, doesn't plug as easily.

The bowl I then use, is small enough to fit in my double boiler, same one I use for my coconut oil. I use a candy thermometer and get the temp in the upper pan to 190F, place the bowl of solution in the pan, and boil off the alcohol. If you wish, you can purge it futher, with a vacuum, etc. I don't see that its needed when using grain alcohol. You can safely vape/smoke it, cook with it, just like hash.
Only stronger! Ohh, i forgot about dabs ( never done one..yet ) I'm sure it would be great for that!

And if I made any glaring errors, its the hash, not me man!

@pop22 whats your recommended procedure with everclear ?

Ah hahaha i understand completely .
Ive made it with iso before .turned out like tar.wasnt impressed.
Think it sat in the iso to long
And just let it evaporate over days.
Thanks

Yea well, its hell to get old.......... made a nice big batch, set it out inside the barbeque grill ( heated by the sun gets pretty warm ) to evaporate............. and forgot it,.........

On Amazon they have a 3 part screen for dry sifting they're kinda small I think a little less than a foot diameter but they have 66 96 120 micron screens and they stack up they're obviously not the best but the screen quality isn't bad jus a cheap option I thought I'd share they're around 20 dollars I bought them when my plants are done I'll do a review
