Well, seems I'm gonna get into the mushroom game. Been sitting on the fence looking and couldn't really justify it with only me doing occasional rides to the edge. But one of my occasional customers was telling me an experience of hers, where she turned down taking some mushrooms based solely on the "sketchy" feeling she got from the guy who delivered to her friends......I merely asked if I was to start in growing would her and/or her friends be interested. A resounding "hell yes cause I know you do shit right" was the answer.....
So, have youtubed a lot, uncle bens tek, monotub etc......looking for real world opinions on cheapest low cost start up.....not including the innoculant

Exactly how I'm gonna start. Already sourced most of it and located my dehydrator....trying to find my pressure cooker. Gonna use part of spore syringe to start up liquid culture.

So I am taking a path of least resistance and buying medium ready to inoculate Gathering horse shit is not hard but pasteurizing it is a PITA.

Oatspawn rinsed in H202 6% @ 1/20 Ratio 3 sandwich bags are inoculated with 1 ml of GT per bag then placed inside a cardboard box

The pre-made sterilized Rye grain stuff has been inoculated with 7 ml of GT and put inside a tall tub with a breather.

The tub has been placed inside a black bag and then another fabric bag that's a very tight fit,
A heat mat has been slid down the backside of the tub between the 2 bags so it's pushed tight against the tub. Thermostat is positioned in there now too.

Just testing it now before it goes to the Den.
