Live Stoner Chat Rolling Paper Question...

As I've mentioned elsewhere, I quit smoking weed for many years and returned to it eight or so years ago. When I returned, I was slapped with the horrific news that my beloved Club papers were no longer made. Since then, I've tried quite a few papers. I didn't expect any to be as good, but none even come close. My most recent try was Elementals (rice paper, right? gotta be close to Clubs!), and the roach look like I had used butcher paper, and lots of it. Probably the best I've seen, residue wise, are the clear papers, but I have to admit, they make me nervous. In desperation, I even tried eBay, but I'm not sure I could spend ten bucks on a pack of papers even if I could afford it.

I'd love to hear any recommendations from those of you who still participate in the ancient art of rolling one up!

Have you tried RAW’s? These are my favorites, easy to roll with and you can barely taste them. I prefer the connoisseur king size with filters.

Club were my favorite too ... at one time I used to buy Double wide Clubs by the case so I could tear them in half to make two joints per paper cause it was cheaper than buying single width ... that was in the 70's ... I saw Club in a head shop not long ago that has since closed down ...

Are they similar paper-wise? I don't mind doing a little "shop work" to get the quality!

I used the double wide to tear into two papers because they were w/o glue ... I'm sure the 1 1/4 wides are the same paper just a little wider ... some days the little bit wider is a blessing and others you get to look like a pro when you tear a 1.25 down to a 1 before rolling w/ it ... I would look the packaging for both over very closely ... it's been 30+ years since I used Club papers ... I use Zigzags and Raws now but seldom roll a joint anymore ... there are cases of singles to be found if you dig deep enough ...

Hey BR, I have some you could try. I smoke cigarettes but I roll my own. My tobacco comes with papers but I use zig zag premade tubes. American spirit does however make a pretty good paper... About the equivalent of a zig zag 1 1/4. Nice and thin with gum rubber glue. Flax not rice but they roll nice and burn clean. Pm me I'll hook you up

regular size silver rizla x2 stuck longsways.kingsize are to wide and a smidge to short for me.

When did they stop making Clubs? My favorite papers to use are Smoking Eco rolling papers - pure hemp. If those are unavailable I usually use raw.

Edit: Quick google search informed me they stopped production in 2009.
