Lighting Rushed in with light purchase. Help needed.

I used viparspectra. I agree too much blue spectrum, HOWEVER, the growth took longer than usual but I got 10Oz from 3 plants (I'm a novice too) under 2 225w ufo viparspectra lights. You should be good, look at buying some red light supplement cheap and add it in.

Those lights will be brilliant for vegging to

Sorry for the delayed response been really busy. Yeah thats good advice about adding supplemental light during flower ill definitely look in to that and feel a lot more optimistic about the situation now, just saw a guy trashing them and panicked :smoking:

I’m growing with viparspectra 600w for the first time as a test and i think she is doing a good job.
Tent 80x80x180
1 auto ultimate that turned out to be a Photoperiod
Will harvest in 2 or 3 weeks .
She’s got some big buds so don’t worry about the light.
For a cheap light she amazed me.
Cheers,

Hey wanted to jump in and give some advice if you decide to do a supplemental light. What you should look for is a warm white LED Cob or something of that nature. Plants actually look for the "ratio" of blue in the spectrum, so if you fix that ratio, then the plants will start to grow faster. Blue in most cases slows down plant growth.

You can even put an HPS in there. The Viparspectra are actually about the same efficiency as an HPS, and you have a little light headroom for more light in that tent without issues. So if you threw a 100W HPS in tent with the LEDs in there it would be rocking... just depends what you wanna do!
