That CQ looks awesomely frosty and colourful.

When you say topping caused loads of fluffy buds, what do you mean exactly mate? I wanna learn! Do you mean the combination of lots of colas but not enough defoliation did it? Light not getting to all the colas? Appreciate the clarification mate so I can try and avoid the same.

Getting fairly jealous now! Nothing in my jars for a good while yet.

Considering topping, mostly that but also some tiny colas/branches won't ever amount to much and that's what I meant when I said that I probably needed to defoliate more aggressively but didn't want to stress out the girls too much . That is also probably strain-dependant and it's different for photos and autos by some degree I would say. You're doing a great job with training your photos .

Gonna tell you right now that it was a lot of work but it paid out, learned a great deal . If nothing, the CQ's are kicking glorious ass, becoming my daytime smoke it seems and being in a league of it's own high wise .

Don't know about the growing but we really made an effort on the trim, thank you . I like trimming the buds aggressively, only calyx if I'm asked about it :smoking:.

TENT 3 HARVEST - DAY 80, 82 & 83

The two Cream Mandarines that weren't topped were the first to go on day 80. They were hit good with light bleach and CalMg deficiency, the taller one had almost no leaves left by harvest . However, chunky, nice smelling buds from them. The topped CM was harvested at day 82 and grew the hardest and biggest buds while being almost half the size of the tallest CM and it seems that she could maybe win for yield from the CM's. Another thing to note is that the topped CM was one of the healthiest plants in the grow, nice green color and great growth from beginning to end .

Last from the bunch to go was Buddha's Sister which really was sub-par for me. Very small buds but a lot of them. She was harvested at day 83 and was the lousiest plant of the grow, yellow color from start to end, don't know what was the matter with her.

On to the pics, the last pic is the main cola from the topped CM, massively dense buds :













One update left and then we're gonna have some yield results .

Shit dude, I've got your back, it's worth it . Really, the high is OUTSTANDING, at least for me . Total head high, phase out of existence and don't even notice it :smoking:.

TENT 4 HARVEST - DAY 81

Last harvest update . The grow was finished more than a week ago and we're bringing the journal to an end too . Tent 4 was cut down at day 81. The Cherry Bombs were the biggest plants in the grow, both above 1m, full of buds and frosty. Night Queen grew to a decent size too and had some really hard/dense nugs and I gotta say you can't go wrong with Dutch Passion . She's caked in frost and even has purple hues on the top buds, really looking forward to trying her. The last Cream Mandarine, the survivor, is the smallest of the CM's but it seems as it is the most frosted of the bunch. And last but not least, the Cosmic Queen runt, she stayed a runt her whole life and it was decided that the complete plant without stem goes to the fresh frozen CQ trim bag, because she is FROSTED. Hope she find peace once she transforms into bubble hash :smoking:.

On to the pics: first up is NQ (with bud shot), second is CM and the pics after are Cherry Bombs (the CQ runt can be seen in one of the Cherry Bomb pics):















And that's about it folks . The only thing left I think are the yield results and some dried bud shots which you will get in a day or two .
Before I forget, another thing:

ADDENDUM / PROBLEM:

Two Autopot trays in tent 4 were full of these bastards:




I'm 99% sure that they appeared these last few day while the pots were drying out (as I was top feeding the plants regularly I would've noticed if something was wrong with the trays). They don't seem that pestilent and I'm pretty sure I've seen them somewhere around the Autopot sub section some time before .
So, any help? I mean, I already cleaned the Autopots and tents and chucked away the substrate. I wanna know the reason of appearance and how to prevent / get rid of them .

Well, one more thing, as some of you notice, I had a name (sex? :smoking change a couple of days ago, adding BT to the old profile name. BT stands for BioTabs and I'm proud to say that I will have a function as a tester/promoter for Biotabs here on AFN, with my good grow bro @Hippy_BiotabsF70 .

I'm not an expert but if anyone has some questions regarding Biotabs or needs some advice or suggestions, hit me up .
In the future I'll try to perfect this setup with Autopots that I'm running, so everyone can witness that you can have an amazing organic product with as little trouble as possible .

Great update Ryker! And the girls got to a very nice size with alot of tops! I really like the shape of the last girl! :drool: Again, awesome growing man! Cant wait for the photos of the buds.

Those small white things i have had before, not really sure what they were but i first got them when i tried coco. Might be fungus gnats or do i rememeber wrong?
