Salmon Water

I personally would still use it in your teas and general soup feeding since the traces should be veeery mild and shouldnt lend to much of a taste..and even if it does I truly dont believe its gonna effect it past a week er two rinse er so of your soil man...your plants look really nice too btw!!Excellent man!!should be some fine enzymes along with some very natural and mild minerals and trace awesomes too..so have fun lol! just use common sense with there being dead fish around"AFN smoke out"

Thanks Eyes I might go ahead and use some yet I was thinking it might give it a after taste but like you said a good flushing would probably take care of that.

I was also concerned with too much Nitrogen since I am not talking a couple dead fish more like 3 million so I think I quit buying fish emulsion :)

I just fed my first comfrey tea this morning with a pinch of guano and kelp meal and molasses I am looking forward to seeing he results of that also made a batch of comfrey soup hope that works out too.

well if there are millions..hmm,well as we all know the stagnat water should be avoided like the plague ..cuz it sorta kinda is LMAO!! but head up stream as best ya can or fast moving white type of water speeds n churning if at all possible.if not...just use it as clean as ya can,but if not I would avoid using it if you can get water like I mentioned..imo stagnat water will lend to a good bit of bad bacteria and that you'll wanna avoid for mostly health reasons..the soil should be able to eat and buffer that out ,but again, aint the healthiest thing to do..so just use caution is all man.but with that in mind ,I d use it and I think it'll work well if you can aquire it that way..best of luck man.

Its a pretty big fast flowing river so not stagnant at all and has plenty of o2 with heavy silt its not clear but a brown with sediments I imagine a lot of rock dust and other goodies in it,

I sure would like to PH this stuff but the meter I ordered is a POS.

sounds like a frigin winner if ya ask me..Can you get closer to the source at all in the hills? I bet thats soo sweet its to die for tooo.well from the source..further down the river noot quite so much this time of year in many parts(as far as straight drinking)..but yup,I wished I had that running here man..all kinds of goodies Im betting too.flesh, scales n fish eyes n wastes..yup as long as its not tooo concentrated it should lend right micely to a well done soil for food and enzymes n the like..very killer,im jealous!!:peace:

The source is a far far away like over 1000 miles

There are smaller clear steams that flow into the main river the headwaters of those are where the salmon spawn and die and get mulched up when they float back down into the main river where I am collecting water.

I am sure its a soup of fish juice ,moose, goose and bear shit and all the microbes that go with it.

I once accidently broke off large branch off my plant so tried to save it I stuck it in a jar of the water it grew a ball of roots and finished the grow in that jar of water.

Starting to put on a little weight day 42

I also have a bit of a problem with one of my plants.

yellowing of some of the leaves.

This is a plant I am spraying one branch with Tiresias mist hoping to get pollen could that be the cause?
I am not using nutes at all just aerated teas with a cap full of call-mag in a gallon of my tea is that enough cal-mag for a LED grow?

Any help would be appreciated

Oh yea I forgot I am growing in Miricle-No organic potting mix I wonder if that's causing N problems.

Well there are a few things man..If you added no lime prior its a PH thing..And a cal-mag thing..boost up yer cal mag a little but mostly try seeing what you PH is of your soil.looks a lil low to me.small N defs, cal mag n off colors.with an unamended soil thats most likely the cause..but LEDs can make ya use double the cal mag or more imo.

and the cal mag use full strength after your tea had brewed then shake it n water it in and that'll help.if it says for example 5mls per gallon(which is a teaspoon btw..or is it 4mls?crap dont recall) I would add(assuming all is good mind you)an extra cpl mls per gallon just cuz of leds alone..not counting any defs er anything..at bllom n flower cal mag Id use a little harder imo..

BUT about the reversing ...not really my area but i know a little bout it.and that everytime ive seen anything like that used..makes yer plants look funky n crisps em up n discolors em falsely imo..so if yer soil is ok I can totally see it being that as well as two small issues too..but thats just a guess to be honest.

Thanks man its always good hear your thoughts on this.

Its pretty weird to see them yellow from the veins outward so it didn't look like a cal mag issue but I have increased the C/M a bit just to be sure also supplementing with a tablespoon of molasses.

I would almost bet you are right on the Tiresias Mist is sucking the life out it.

I am feeding them my tea every day now and its the only one showing signs of yellowing the others are nice and green and healthy so far and putting on weight.

I will ride it out and hope I get some pollen off of her for my trouble been day 14 spraying and no testicles yet.

Thanks again bro for helping me sort this out in my head.
