It wouldnt take any extra work to cube her to AhA.

After a few days looking around here I noticed all the dragon talk.

Is Mrs Mosseys new dragon egg auto seeds name inspired by the HBO series "game of thrones'?
(Maybe I'm just projecting because its one of my favorite shows ever)

Moving back to Colorfull Colorado. Whooot
I'm upgrading my grow equipment, induction lights an tent for indoor.
No more guerrilla growing.
Making my own auto, preservation runs on old things, STS fem seed crosses an s1.
Going to be a good year.

Been looking at induction they are low temp, super long lasting great PAR and CRI Bulbs, super efficient, instant start , flicker free. But costly, so I search for kits..

This 300$ DIY 300w 3500k square induction bulb an ballest kit looks dam good to me.
I'm sure I can wire a power cord an mount it my self, like I did my lil HIds.

I emailed there sales rep Tony an asked about prices and about shit when he said "350$ + about 100$ for shipping".
As a full light ballest an reflector set up, not a kit!
That's half the price of the competion!!
And I think if you buy just a bulb and ballest kit an DIY, it's -100 for no reflector.

I think I'm going to try one!!
Those guys need to get a big hydro shop in board.
With their prices they would fly off the shelfs.

even before i seen your comments i had noticed you useing mirrors , if they are glass then they are a big NO-NO , you only think your reflecting the light , its like magic , its only smoke and mirrors , pun intended

glass ABSORBS light and , mirrors were scientifically proven to NOT be a good source of reflective material

not tryin to start a debate , i just wanted members and new growers wanting to learn to hear another side , a simple google search will give you many links filled with reason why not to use mirrors

No problem bob as long as we debate civily its all good.
I figgure everyone knows the white is more reflective than mirrors are story Ill discuss why I use them.
There is a method to my madness..

If I flashed you driving by with a white piece of wood nothing would happen, but if I did it with a mirror it would be so intinse that it would blind you. This is what I'm after in my cab.

I don't believe grow guides on the physics of reflection.
Mirrors are about 95% reflective, but they do loose a bit to refraction (unless you get NASA shit.)
There are 2 types of reflection, specular -from water or a mirrors flash and diffuse that sends light everywhere.
Diffuse is week, specular reflects photons much more intensely reflected.

I learned the secret to mirrors is the bottoms must be kicked out at the bottom to reflect back at the plant.
Placing a light above an having vertically placed mirrors would be nearly useless.
You must flash your plants with the light.

And as far as mirror hot spots go, i can detect no heat increase using my infrared thermometer from the mirrors with lil HIDs.
But it does provide great free side lighting.

If you are good @ cutting glass an have free mirror laying around I recommend it.
