Bro… to be honest. Not one bit impressed by your grows. With the way you rant I would think you would have something impressive going on over there but all I see are a bunch of small little plants that have plenty of light and space around them. If I grew like you I probably wouldn’t be pruning as much, but I’m into high production crops grown in small areas.
I have all the proof I need from the experience that I have gained over the years. When I first started growing SOG I never took leaves off my plants and always ended up with the lower half of the plants shaded and grew lots of lime green larf back then. After I started to experiment with defoliation my high density canopies were opened up and had much more light and airflow going to the bottom of the plants resulting in hardening up everything down below. More light plus more airflow equals denser and higher quality buds. And that’s a fact! Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure that one out. Lol

as i was illegal for most of my life, i never showed the room grows. just my personal closet grows and experiments. i never said my grows were great looking. back then we were pretty nervous about showing anything more than personal use on line. the plants were smallish as i was always crowding the closets, trying new strains and F2s that i made. 2 ounces a plant was average, my mother plants were kept for years. i grew so many plants per grow, if the cops ever wandered in i would still be in prison. i would also never mention selling. hiding and carefully wording posts was a survival strategy.

i just made my thoughts on defoliating known. you true believers are a funny group. your proof doesn't hold water unless tests are done such as mentioned in the article i posted.as i said, do your thing. no hair off my ass but tell my why everybody who grows doesn't do this every grow? i know why, it has something to do with no gain or gains so tiny it's not worth it.

i would crowd so many plants in a small space you could hardly find the pots to water them. there isn't a grow method i haven't tried except denuding my plants. the reason i never did that is, as i have mentioned, retarded. and when other people in the group did it, they usually stopped after a couple grows saying it didn't do anything except make their yeilds smaller

All the proof you need is documented in this thread, set what you think you know aside and read. There’s also pictures if you can’t read. Not a nice way of putting it, but also completely wrong. If you do your research, you'll see that growers in Jamaica (and no doubt across the world) have been stripping their plants for years and it seems like it's aquired knowledge probably from their grannys.

Proofs in the pudding, but if you wanna compete with the competent schwazzers (and it's a new thing for me too) .. put up your photos of non trained plants that are better (and mold free) and i'll doth my cap.

Until then ... it's just suspicious, unadventurous and stubborn blibber blabber

ouch. you guys are very protective of the handful of people who show how remarkable cutting off all the leaves is. i read the thread. i will ask this question until one of you answer it - WHY isn't every grower doing this? it's so obvious that it's a miracle and that hard botany supports it 100%? why? are we too stupid? to arrogant? to mean?

OMG i just started cutting off all my fan leaves and my 6 legal plants produce 23 ounces per plant! it's a fucking miracle!! i can't believe 90% (made up number) of growers don't do it! they are fools! fools i tell you!

I had to read my comment again, I didn’t name call. I may have been a little condescending but I think it’s warranted in this situation. You’re calling everyone who’s posted on this thread incompetent and ignorant and whatever else you’ve said. I don’t have time to read through all your comments. A respectful conversation gets you a lot further. Actual proof, which is abundant in this thread supporting stripping your plants, goes even further.

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have about schwazzing plants.

That said, you WILL kindly watch your mouth when you're a guest on this forum.
