Day one sprout. I started soaking these on Saturday. It is Monday night and they are showing. This strain is so fast start to finish.. When we grew this last, we estimated THC to be 13% on the low end to 17% on the high end. It would normally grow to 24 inches in height with around 9 to 15 branches with many medium nugs every where. Topping is needed IMO in a micro grow. I know you are not supposed to with autos.

Yes, I will Top one of these.. (If female) (Hopefully I can pull my head out of my ass on this attempt)

Is that black container your grow space?
Ive seen people some autos with success..though Ive read some dont respond that that so well.

Id recommend a scrog/lst set up without topping from what Ive been seeing/reading. I dont have personal experience with topping auto's thought.

LoL! Thanks for stopping by Neko. The container on top is for brewing beer. Once I get an air lock on it, I will be using it to feed Co2. (I call it the circle of life.) What's under it is my grow space. Ya I know, topping autos not a good thing. I just want to try it for experimental reasons. I think that if any strain would do well with it, Super-MOG is it. Only time will tell. I can't offer anything other than a gut feeling in defense why I am doing something I know I am not supposed to.

theres billions of sheep in this world and very few sheep herders. to really know what is good or bad without trying yourself is just copying someone elses suggestions. I have always been a leader and never followed the normal herd of sheep. ive tested things on my own before saying what I believe is good or bad. that bein said I top and fim all my autos and have very good success for what I had for lighting. just my 2 cents.

I totally hear ya. But when people are paying $75.00 for 4 beans (With outrages stealth shipping charges), you prolly only do what is known to be safe.. After taking the risks just getting them, you want everything to turn out ok.. I am lucky that I don't have to worry about that. I think you may be in the same boat or somewhere safe.

Thanks for stopping by Faded!

Busy BUSY Day!

The new filter and fan came today. I thought I had all the measurements right but I was off by an 1/8th of an inch. (The prefilter which I never accounted for) Took that old crappy filter out. The new filter wouldn't fit. I had to ream 4" hole the 1/8th inch. Got it in and made it air tight. In between filter and fan is a neoprene noise dampener. Since I had to take the whole cabinet apart, I took the opportunity to rearrange the lights in a way that made more sense.. Ripped out the POS led light panel it came with. Moved the two ten watt multi-spectrum LED's up top.

Temps are nice and low now. I need to add more lights to warm it up!! YIPPY! Oh, this cab is so quiet now. I have a voltage limiter for the fan.. NO MORE STINK!! YAY!

Used hanging bracket to secure to unit.

The new light arrangement. Notice the old intake is now covered by two layers of activated charcoal.
I could pull the plug in a emergency and smell would not bleed out!

Day 4

Second set of leaves are sprouting. I would show everybody the other plant in other pot but it looks just like this one. The other stalk is a twin.. (look hard) It happened last time too.

No heat no GROW. Day 6

With the installation of the new filter and fan, the box has a hard time staying above 21C or 69F. Apparently, this strain likes hotter temps because when I look at my old grow that was around 90F or 31C, they had twice the growth at this stage. I ordered bigger CFL's to heat it up. Prolly be a few more days before I get them. Live and learn!

Fed for the first time General Organics Grow - Bio Thrive - 1/4 teaspoon for 28 ounces of water. The instructions call for 2 teaspoons per gallon so I am pretty close according to the math.. THANKS FOR LOOKEN!

Update

Day 11....Pulled the 32 watt CFL and put in 42x3 watt CFL's in order to bring up temps. Temps are now around 24-26c night-day. They were 19c-22C with the new fan and filter. Lumen rating now with the 10 watt LED's and the 30 watt C5 is just above 10,000 which was my personal target tempts permitting.

Fan leaves are taco-ing. I think this is from the large amount of air movement. 3 inches tall and the stalks have taken on a wood like appearance to compensate being thrown around like in a mosh pit! Going to top in 24 hours or so, they are both working on the 5th node. The larger one is showing the two hair fem hairs.. (Can't spell pistolas)

Day 12 TOPPED!

For those who maybe looking at this journal for the first time, yes I know you are not supposed to top an auto. Please know, this is an experiment with a strain I call Super MOG. Jack Herer xx Short Stuff original. (Trying to shorten plant while increasing the medical benefits) Also note that this is a micro grow and there is no way I have the space to grow this strain in this environment without topping, Scrogging and even a little LST.

Thanks for looking!
