  • Grape skin

  • Olive leaves & olivecore
Benefits of Biological compost Posidonia
A natural soil improver that offers the following benefits:

  • Improved structure & texture

  • Increased moisture retention

  • Improved aeration

  • Increased nutrient value

  • Improved fertility in tired or un-worked soils

  • Loosens clay soils

  • Stimulates healthy root development
So all that sounds really good except for the ph which is a bit on the high side,

So i used some cheap soil, added the same amount of this compost , some perlite for aeration and a little bit of composted chicken manure

So what do you guys think? Is there anything missing? and what do you think about the compost?

I know nothing about soil composition, so can't help there - but 7-7.5 PH seems a bit high for our purposes. Perhaps with some lime mixed in it could be lowered?

Why not pop up an introduction for a warm welcome from our members

Anyone? I could really use some expert opinion..

still no opinion i see....

the ph of the soil 7.0-7.5 is to high for mj , it dont think it will help your plants in that alkaline range , around 6.0 be ideal range if you can alter it in some way.
one option, could get some sodium alginate & dissolve in water an ph to a ideal range and then infuze the soil with it , instead of buying seaweed fertiliser with other waste components added to bulk it up.
