The lst pic was taken the morning after. She'd already turned up to the light. It was nerve wracking, as I said she is a lot smaller than the nl. Won't be able to check her till tomorrow night. Planning on the second round of lst then.
I think it was probably lack of light. This grow is a bit of an experiment. My hope was to grow two plants with about 30/40 days between them. Then as I'm chopping one start the next and so on.
My grow area is narrow, only 50cm. I can only hang my cfl front to back. It's been a struggle to light the Roadrunner without sacrificing light to the nl which is flowering and obviously much bigger.
My hope was to achieve this with just the one bulb. I don't think my hope is achievable.
U need to get your bulb horizontal for full effect really. Have you considered L.E.D or the 65w CFL light fixtures?? What's your total grow space measurement?
I've considered all sorts! Catch 22 unfortunately. I already accept I'm not going to have great results from this grow. I can't afford an led this month. If I chuck what cash I do have at extra cfls it takes away what I can spend later on, not to mention the electric bill.
I've got the bulb in the best position I can for the time being. Hoping the Roadrunner will fill out a bit then move things around a bit again.
I've not actually measured by roughly 50cm wide, 80cm deep, 2 meters tall although I have my top reflector covering the whole top area about 1m up.
Yeah I reckon you could get a L.E.D in there no probs maybe even a 150w Hps. But it's up to you what works best for you bud. I never had great results with CFL but some people do. Just all depends on your situation.
