New Grower Second grow - Dinafem Roadrunner #2

Interesting, to be honest I've just been eyeballing the bloom and topmax basically supplementing the big bloom until I'm out. After that I'm not sure. Looking really good though gman, how tall is it?

Off the top of my head about 10". She stretched way too much early on, massive internode distance. I bent the main cola first at 90 deg, then as she grew I bent her 180 deg back on herself if that makes sense. This allowed the side branches to catch up.

I will make sure I take pics once she's pruned to show you!

I'm still surprised she's producing as she is considered the abuse I gave her.

Measured last night. 11" at the highest point, 9" at the lowest.

Nice man, how much do you prune? Mine could use a good pruning but I'm holding off for now and just trying to create space via spread.

Haven't pruned at all. Tucked anything in the way.

Day 61

Bud porn! How cloudy do they look?

They're not cloudy yet, when they're cloudy you don't get any transparency in the middle, hard to tell with light, flash etc ... best way is with a cheap USB microscope or a 60x loupe.

Lots of trichs though so that's good. Since you have a blue light i'd recommend starting autos on that in future, shorter internode, bushier bla bla

It's worth sticking with autos, you've learned a lot so far so would be a shame to give it up and move to photos jsut coz you've had some difficulties.

My first two grows were crap then my 3rd was brillliant.

Someone earlier in this thread said they didn't rate CFLs for growing, so once again i get out my trusty four starryders (3rd grow) that produced 4 ounces between them under a 250W flowering CFL all the way through the grow :

One of your problems was that the CFL is too far from her canopy due to your first plant, i think?

After a week under CFL i kept them at 3 or 4 inches away :

then two inches in mid-flower, but obviously not every bud can be equidistant from the light :

Don't give it up dood! Autos are worth the learning curve :)

All the best,

steely

Not giving up. Just a few other issues forcing me in a different direction for a spell.

Just one of those things man. It'll all get sorted soon :)
