Have you seen my 11 watts per square foot grow? 20 is on the upper end for autos in my opinion. These are autos not photos and its really all about the daily light integral. If Im doing the calc right, 15 x 55 / 45 = 18.3, you are running fairly low light intensity in there. How was your flower density? Did you try to calculate grams/watt?
Pretty much all of my grows are below 20w per square foot. BigSm0 and the cob addiction is my current grow at 11 watts per square foot. Basically (dli) is the amount of light multiplied by the hours per day. Autos running up to 24 hours a day is twice the hours of photos which run 12 hours per day in flower.Ive probably seen it but not sure I paid attention to the w/sq, sometimes I just browse pictures. Ill check it out and pay more attention, whats it titled?

Photos 12hours x50wpsf is the same as autos 24hoursx25wpsf. I basically stumbled across this when I used to see all my outer buds were in the best health, biggest and frostiest. Basically lived by more the better when it came to light. Later realized less was more, dli and the natural sensitivity of autos. The beauty is my electric bills less than half of what it was and my crops are all happy and full of amazing bud. I know people can run autos at high wattages and still do well, I just think it’s unnecessary and it’s much easier to control and manage. Sorry for the thread jack Sir Milo.
