New Grower security

I have a question that i need answering or someone to put my mind at ease, i have just moved house and i now have to grow in my attic which has a window as it is the only suitable space that i can use, my worry/worries are the choppers, i run LED only will they be able to detect a heat signature from my tent? my temps with everything running have been between 20-25c, i hope i have just been a bit paranoid but i needed some reassurance :dunno:

I wouldn't sweat it, that's not a high enough heat signature to really make someone look twice. What's the ambient temp in the rest of the house? is this significantly different?

Paranoia is always good, unless the top of your house is 20-30 degrees warmer than the rest of your house I don't think you will have any concerns. Smell is the easiest way to get caught and ratted out. This is my opinion for the USA though and I'm not sure where you reside.

i would say the rest of my house is warmer than in the tent, but in my attic it was around 10-15c so my tent is around 10c warmer than the attic, i was just a bit nervous i suppose its better to be safe than sorry. iam in the uk, i always have my extractor and carbon filter running for the smells

Naw mate, heat rises and the top of EVERYONE's house looks hot through a thermal image. Toke a bowl and don't sweat it. If you were running dual 1000w hps, then you might have a problem!!!

thanks guys you have put my mind at ease now, never had a tent in the attic before and i think i just needed reassured, i even went and installed 2 fire/smoke alarms today lol

I agree with the other posts, you have nowt to be worried about. Yet it is always good to be paranoid. The old saying goes...

"Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you" lol!

And I wish everyone would put a smoke alarm into their tents/rooms/cupboards/etc as the last thing we want is a crew with blue lights flashing pushing their way into our grow rooms.

Double what EP said. Almost the first thing I did was put in an extra smoke alarm. Cheap insurance. If your worried you can always put an extra layer of reflective insulation on the part of the roof over your tent. Should keep the whole thing unrecognizable. Like everyone said though I wouldn't worry overmuch.
