New Grower Seed prices wtf.

But. lets think about this a bit, It takes many hands to get the beans off the plant and into your mailbox.
The economy is shit.
Photos only need 1 seed and you have a mother for years.
and its cool as shit to go to the mailbox and get the best seeds in the world!
I dont have allot of money but its not killing me to spend $20.00 for a killer plant.

Yea and that's why its getting harder to find regular seeds. Don't think so, go see how many auto reg seeds you can find...what better way to get people to keep buying than to produce only fem seeds.

A friend just harvested 2000 seeds from one plant. Took him 5 minutes to get the majority by shaking the plant over a small tarp. Do you really think the big breeders waste much time in the harvesting of seeds? I'm sure the have rapid techniques available. Yup if all you need is one bean, sure pay the price.

But, just wait till the big guns get involved and start to patent strains...you'll pay thru the nose for sure! Better start breeding your own while you can.

You can still take a female seed and reverse it to male with coloidal silver, and the pollen from it will create all female seeds!!! That is pure awesomeness!!! And making a colloidal silver generator is CHEAP!!! If you haven't read this thread, check it out!!!

That's right! A method I've posted on theweedblog before and can work with autos is: when a good parent is spotted in early flower, sacrifice the bottom two branches/offshoots to make two clones. When rooted okay, yeah they'll be in early flower by this point, spray one with the colloidal silver till she grows balls, take pollen, fertilize the 2nd clone when more fully flowered. Seeds! Not many, but enough for round 2. I'm still trying to get my cloning luck worked out, but a pro could do this easily I have one really outstanding Smurfberry that's about to get ger lower two sacrificed. Come to think of it, you could probably just take 1 clone to mutate, and only pollinate one branch... But I would feel safer with a little more separation, hence taking the two. It's still in the feasibility-study stage for me, but it would work on paper.

Another fact is if u Compare the Price of a Seed to what u have to smoke(and normaly have to buy that) its freaking cheap to buy some Seeds. I mean in my area its 10-15 euros for a gramm of Smoke so if u chop a lady from a bean that was 15.- u cover the price with 1 or 2 grams of the Plant..... i always see it like this when i buy some more expencive Strains.

Using sts you an reverse A single branch.
Then pollenate a few lower branches
This allows you to make seeds, an have weed to smoke also.

I make seed every grow, then i swap with folks for theirs @ various sites.
I haven't Haven't bought a seed in yrs.

Seeds are getting expensive and yes breeding is the way to go but like stated prior in this Thread sometimes you just want those Strains or want to try something new.

I probably have over 40-50 Photo seeds Various strains from ordering or trading through the past few years.

But if you time your order right there's plenty of deals and discount codes..

I got a total of 13 seeds all Fem and 12 are Autos for $92 with guaranteed shipping to the states..
