I just harvested some seeds from a cross if Duurty Dragon and Kush Van Stitch. Will grow some out around October

Alot of seed breeders out there. It is a buyers market I might try some a stitch's genetics but only one shot per seed vendor I will never go back if not a viable seed that pops with vigor and grows like a champ. It is hard to deviate from seed banks like Dutch Passion and for me PEAK seeds in Canada the success rate with there seeds is outstanding. I am to old to mess with freaky genes that don't produce. To much energy and time for nothing .
with the good breeders your paying for genetics and consistency, so much time goes into a grow that the price of seeds isn't nearly as important the peace of mind you get knowing your plant will grow.
I would glady even pay $50 for a seed knowing I'm growing quality herb tailored to my needs and not supporting some commerical grow where they could be using dangerous chemicals etc..
We're paying for quality genetics, don't forget. Whilst $20 or $30 a seed might seem high; compared to the amount of herb/medicine one can purchase with 20 or 30 bucks is little compared to the yield of that one seed.

Whole heartily agree! I was paying $80 a 1/4, from one seed I can get that and much much more.... I just brought some Cali connect gear which was $120 a pack, paid a lot for my tom hill gear, my Raskal gear, and a few others my over medicated mind can't think of right at the moment. I took my $$ i saved going to the green man to invest in myself and obtaining many genetics to go through to find what works best for me... I'll gladly pay a high price for a seed if it's quality... And on the flip side of all this is one of my most expensive genetics (dr g ESCD s1) is also the only full blown Hermie I've grown... I will pop some more to give them a fair chance as what did flower was crazy ass good smoke!
So for your average grower/hobbyist I think seed prices are a bit over the top, for someone like me who this hobby is a true passion, a true love, a means to find relief from this suffering i concur from the ms, canna and the ability to try all sorts of strains is priceless....
