Mephisto Genetics Seedling mega stem stretch?

Hey Folks,

I have some 3 week old plants outside and some of them are having "mega stretch" stem growth.
For the pics of Alien vs Triangle below, the distance between 2nd and 3rd nodes is currently almost 12". Node spacing was 7" last week when I topped it, didn't seem to slow it down at all!

I mainlined the other mega stem plant (Crem de le Chem) and it stopped the between node stem growth.

I have never seen this before, but this is my first time with autos.
Any thoughts? Will this plant be 10' tall?

I had a male plant do that,stem was super fat looks pretty crazy

Funnily enough I also had a male auto do that. Gorgeous looking plant but I don’t like balls.

Any preflowers yet? If not watch it like a hawk for male parts.

Lol I agree watch it hard mine was a fem seed ruined a cpl outdoor plants my neighbor had still feel bad about that

I would also look for Hermie/Balls, but either way for 3 weeks old and the structure. It will most likely not yield that well with that structure for it's age. Not being negative, just being honest. Maybe it is not getting enough light, that is the most common reason for excessive stretching. Good luck, slow
