i always start off on 1/4 strength nutes and a litre of water per feed between 2 plants as you are using ro water you need to add some cal mag start that off with your nutes at about 1/4 strength and keep a look out for cal mag problems and water when the coco is dry and feed every watering check out a few grow journals and good luck :pass:

So i should let my coco dry out before watering?
Yes it makes your roots look for water giving you a bigger root system I only do that for the first 2 weeks a good rule of thumb is pick up your plant pot before you water and feel how heavy it is then feel the weight of the pot when watered it gives you a rough idea when to water

This is good advice. It will serve you well later on when you need to up the amount of solution, as the plant ages and grows. I kinda blend it with the Ronin style. I like to water/feed (I rarely ever feed just water) twice a day keeps the hydro aspect to growing in coco. I start with 1cup twice daily straight down the center ish. She'll sprout and send a tap root deep following the water. I did that for about a week or until I started feeding more. Like 2 cups twice a day. Then I kinda feed in a circle around the plant base. I try not to get the rapid rooter/peat pot too wet. But I've problems with dampening off. Before you know it your up to 1 liter twice a day just before flower. Then I feed 1.5-2 liters twice aday.

Every so often I will flush the plants with a super diluted solution to vlear out any residual nut build up.

Hope that helps. If its confusing, sorry. Hit me up and I'll try to explain more clearly.

How much nutes do u add to each one cup for the seedling? My plan was to use one gal jugs and add a little floranova bloom and calmag plus with mykos add it to the cup of water. Good plan? From the sounds of it they never use a gal at one time. Ill be growing in a 5gal smart pot so i thought keeping all the coco in it moist was the name of the game but it sounds like i should just be feeding it a litter at a time twice daily when the coco starts to dry up add my litter? O btw im growing a sour diesel by dinafem

So mix up a gallon a gallon of solution. Whatever strength you feel is best. Depends on the manufacturer. Imo. Use that gallon up a cup at a time, when you feed. I grow in 5gl pots, at the moment, if the plants looks a little yellow on the first set of true leaves up your feed. EXAMPLE: If at 1/4 up to 1/2 so on an so forth at each rez/jug change. When the girls are showing good growth and or using up more water or it is evaporating cause of the heat, start feeding dbl each time. in about three weeks from seedling you may be up to .5liter each feed. If you get runoff back it down a bit.

That ought to get you going.

Rule of thumb;
Keep the coco around the root ball moist but not soaked.
As I she grows do the circle.

Great information here thank you. What im expecting to do is water with nutes every other day and water by the center of the plant the whole grow. Obviously ill watch the new growth to tell the tale about feedings. How much cal mag would you recomend giving a seedling? Everything else ill do the cup of 1/4 strength made in a gall. I hope the ph doesn't flex to much by sitting to long.
