New Grower Seedlings!!

I'd run you'r fan all day, does't have to be directly on them, but it's a good thing to make sure you stuff is getting blown on .......

additionllaly... the fan advice is spot on... old greenhouse growers know... they say "run your hands down the tops of the plants when you walk through, it breaks cells in the stems... which they will repair... making stronger stems"

which, of course... supports more flower / fruit weight

:smokebuds:

I'm not sying break your stems... but flexing is very good.

Thanks goauto6 and JM, that's great help. . The ph table is very handy to have, appreciate it :)

A few months ago a had no idea about growing but there's nearly a million different ways to do it and it's very confusing, I guess it's not as easy as just planting a seed ha
The reason I got AF seeds was because I heard they're one of the easiest to grow and seeing as it's my first grow I wanted to try get the hang of things first. .
But with the curling leaves I'm starting to stress already
:smoke:

I've never heard of "flexing" (you learn something new everyday when it comes to growing). . :)
Do you recommend this? How do I do it right?

Sorry for silly questions but the more I ask the more I'll find out what I need, thanks :smoke:

the best and easiest way is a small oscillating fan in the grow area... this insures low stress natural flexing... like gentle winds in nature... :toke:

The only silly questions... are the ones you dont ask... :toke:

But with the curling leaves I'm starting to stress already
:smoke:

Dont stress... get you ph on point... dont overwater... and relax a bit... theyve done it for 5000 years on their own... you just need t give them the right environment. Fortunately, they're nowhere near as demanding as a baby... :toke:

Seedlings are incredible survivors. It is when they become teens that they become a big pain in the ...

I had trouble germing a well over a month ago. In one pot it took four seeds. When I planted the forth seed I dug along the top soil and found the third missing seed.

It had a one inch dry tap root. The seed had sprouted and was growing into the soil.

It was sad looking. I decided for the sport of it to plant it on the side of the pot with the forth seedling.

It languished for several weeks in the same sad state. Then began to grow and is now a healthy though petite flowering Snow Rider. Felt good about saving it.

Great news!! Woke up this morning to see 3 perfect lookin ladies! No curling at all!! Thanks gettingreen for the advice on the light, I reckon it was just too intense for them. They look very healthy and strong little stems. One disaster avoided ha :)

Thanks JM for the help. . Is there any household products good for raising ph? Don't want to sound cheap just I've put alot of money into this (€120 on seeds alone :(). . . I still haven't watered 6 days now but soil is still moist so holding back on watering even though it's hard not to mother them

Thanks Smithee for joining along, I've always said never give up on seeds. They are fighters, how long did it take before they broke soil??

If it wasn't for all of your help guys God only knows what would've happened! The Internet is full of crap like "as soon as they break soil get the light 2inches over them!!!" . . . AFN is my new home ha :smoke: ha

Has anybody used Bio Nova Autoflower Supermix?? Was hoping to do this without nutes but was told Supermix is an all in 1 and I wouldn't need another?? The bottle has no English on it but I checked their website and read up. Still would help if anyone could give advice on this please . .

Also can I do a bit of LST in the future? I mean is it good/bad for Autoflowers? The set-up I have will result in short plants so was hoping to get the most from the ladies :)
