Good morning,

I have been debating setting up some tents in series (Basment dehumidified air -> flower tent -> Veg / Clone / Seedling tent (dome over plants needing addl humidity). I know using an hps light this is a no go, but LEDs should work as they dont get too hot. (I am well below they max temp as I grow in a basement.)

My background in HVAC says i can, but I was curious about the community thoughts.

My thinking is since my rh is lower in the basement (running a dehumidifier), have the flower tent as the main intake, vented to my soon to be 4x4 tent with filter and fan to the outdoors. My exhaust fan runs 24/7.

My thinking is as the air moves through the two tents, the air rh will be lower as not to cause moisture to be in the flower room, and when it hits veg it will spike prior to be vented outdoors.

My exhaust fan has more than enough CFM, thats not an issue, I have the adjustable fan speed module, so i can ensure negitive pressure.

Is there anything I may have overlooked? Your thoughts?

Thank you all in advance!:)

I think that sounds like a great idea! Especially in the basement with a dehumidifier running! Pass that humidity into the room that wants it then back out. Sounds legit to me have any pictures that always helps when having everyone see if anything is overlooked!

Best of luck stay lit!

I will upload some when I receive my new tent and it is set up!. I can tweak it as needed.

I have been thinking of doing the same. I have a small tent 2'x2'x5' for seedlings with two T5 lights and a 600 watt equivalent LED light. I then have a 4'x4'x6'8" tent which I have in a pole barn in an insulated room I was using until I got too many plants growing and moved everything outside in a fenced in area I built. I only use the larger tent currently when a storm is forecasted that is severe and possible hail like tonight. I have my plantings staggered so I have two plants that will be ready for harvest in days. I put them in the tent to keep them from getting soaked or damaged by hail.

Putting the tents in a series would allow me to run both tents off one blower and carbon filter next year until I move plants outside and using the smaller tent as a drying cabinet later in the year for drying what I harvest for my earliest plantings as I would easily be able to set it so it vents into the larger tent when needed.
