No one's mad at you for voicing your opinion. But it is a hot button topic, especially for those who live in non legal states. You want to see shitty legalization? Go look up New York's new " medical" policy. Its the biggest joke in this whole movement!

I would not put much into the prices. It's all to new and unusual. Withe the passage of time and other states joining in things will calm down a bit.
Speaking of forest and trees, we are hobbyist growers and we enjoy the growing and the use of this wonderful plant. We are not in the majority! How many folks grow their own food, raise meat animals, etc. Sure, a lot of folks will grow, but once the novelty wears off they won't bother. I think that will keep the markets strong; legit and underground.
Again, as long as I can grow my own, I will be a happy camper!!

If I didn't grow I'd have none. And after finding that it is helping my lady's MS issues, not to say my personal medical problems, there is no way I'd go without. In fact we may move to VT as medical is legal there and you can grow.

Yeah, with so much demand (Like Fox Farms OF) the temptation to rush to market with little or no quality control is very strong.
They figure most people are revisiting younger days and trying some for the first time in decades and that, as a result, they will be
easy to impress/get high. They have judged that a majority of consumers won't know any better. The daily strain reviews on the
Cannabist are brutal these days with their less-than-favorable reviews of most of the dispensaries offerings.

For everyone who has bought weed from a dispensary..what was the quality like? is the dispensary weed something special or just average? and do they have different strengths like mid-grade, top shelf, etc?

With prices like that it should be the best of the best imo im just curious to what people in legal states thought of the bud..is it worth the price? :Sharing One:

I went to a rec store in Denver. Asked for a gram of their top shelf. My Auto strains were better than this was. I was really disappointed in the quality of the smoke. Also got something called K-1 which was just so-so as well.

No not at the price point now.

I think the issue could be the amount they are selling. Cut, fast dry, sell.
