Live Stoner Chat Shameful COl legal cannabis costs

...The law is still a bit fuzzy. Parts need to be taken to court for clarification.

Yeah, that's the truth...they don't even have a way to address auto flowering genetics yet nor do they (I think)
even have a benchmark for the delineation....like pre-flower vs. fully flowering. My Dark Devil showed sex at day 15...

As the law sits right now, I would have to start my 2 second 3 plants with the previous plants 6 or 7 weeks old to
insure that both groups of 3 weren't flowering at the same time...good thing I'm only growing 3 at a time and don't
have to worry about it. :)

Pre flower is still a veg state. Its not in flower.
When a plant is in flower the stretch stops.

You could plant something every 2 weeks and be well within check. On top of that you would get a cut every 2 weeks of some top shelf.

Yeah, that's what WE know about the science of Ruderalis-based genetics...but does the law recognize that fact?

Or would you have to argue the science in court?

Okay going back here to the question about the rec prices.....
The closest town to me that does rec sales, 1 g for 25 smackers! Shit for price breaks. 500-560 a z. A no brianer. The quality is just not there.

Another thing I read about in the paper is co gov wants more herb coming in. Just don't know how they plan on getting more since they have regulated it so much, that in order to have a legit business you need a very fuckin rich uncle, indeed. Even after setup they can be....a....denied.....sorry.

So I have my plants for me and to share with friends an family when they come to town. Or the occasional A.F.N hook up. I love it here!

With it becoming recreational the police wont care very much they have allot bigger fish to fry then worry about something that is recreational IMO just keep it to yourself and grow enough to do the job

Bingo! :) Couldn't have said it better...

That's the part I'm happy about. The only reason I would BUY recreational now would be to test drive a specific strain...like Ghost Train Haze or Bruce Banner #3 or
something specifically suggested for my type of pain. I'm more than happy to let the tourists generate the tax revenue and grow my own for myself, and for gifting friends.

The rec prices in Telluride range from $20 for 1.8 g (not a single gram) to $40/1.8g for ultra-high potency (26.9%) "Limited Edition" stuff. (BioChem)

Here's their daily menu (For informational purposes, not a plug)

I.8 Unreal why cant they throw in another two points of a gram. Ranging from 20 to 40 ouch at 40 that is over 700 dollars a ounce someone is getting fiilthy rich

I would not put much into the prices. It's all to new and unusual. Withe the passage of time and other states joining in things will calm down a bit.
Speaking of forest and trees, we are hobbyist growers and we enjoy the growing and the use of this wonderful plant. We are not in the majority! How many folks grow their own food, raise meat animals, etc. Sure, a lot of folks will grow, but once the novelty wears off they won't bother. I think that will keep the markets strong; legit and underground.
Again, as long as I can grow my own, I will be a happy camper!!

My motto is overgrow the goverment grow so much they just won't know what to do everyone grow everywhere. It is a weed for gosh sakes a WEED. Well Colorado You guys rock in the forfront of the movement. Now the ripple affect will take place

Yeah, you're right...we should just make it illegal again and remove all those pathways to improvement and sanity. I absolutely hate that I can legally grow my own without the fear of it ruining the rest of my life. ;)

It may not be perfect, but it's one of the most concrete and ground-breaking changes that has happened...ever. Let's not miss seeing the forest for the trees.

Slow change isn't as satisfying, but it is the most foundational, the most long-lasting and generates the most consensus. Slow change is the most circumspect and therefore the most undeniable.

I'm with you Trapper! Wish I had it so bad....but its so much more fun when you could get 10 years in prison..................
