Indoor short stuff - himalaya blue diesel

Hello All,

New member to the site thanks to Hansbricks who has encouraged me to start posting my grows. Noticed a Short Stuff thread and I happen to be on day 26 of a short stuff Himalaya blue diesel grow.

Lighting - Apollo 8 LED
4x2 Grow Tent
Plant is in a 3 Gallon Pot with Pro-Mix soil
20 hour on 4 hour off lighting cycle
Currently watering with RO water, Cal/ Mag booster and sensibloom part A and B nutrients

Plant is about 18" tall - enjoy pics




There is a Jack 47 and a Mazar in the tent with it which are much taller and might be over shadowing the blue diesel. I put a little CFL down closer to it though to ensure sufficient lighting.

She looks good. Have you had luck growing HBD before? I just had a hard time with it. 3 of 5 didn't make it. That very well could have been me though as I am new to the whole process. I was kind of wondering if anyone else was going to try. Whatever stopped mine got them young. 1 wouldn't germ and 2 just kind of froze up right after opening up.
Don't want to hijack but Muddy did you mean you grew this strain in the past?
I'm gonna watch close as I have 2 pups myself currently. Welcome Goose, thanks for posting.

Himalaya Blue Diesel into flower - This plant has grown surprisingly tall to be roughly 38" and I would describe its build as fairly narrow; not very bushy. Though this girl does share a tent with a J47 and AutoMazar which could have forced it to grow so tall. She is enjoying a nutrient rich diet of Sensibloom part A and B along with Cal/Mag booster and Big Bud. As seen in my first post the leaves were very large but they have narrowed out for the most part now. Very beautiful looking plant.

Just ordered a Mars Hydro Reflector 48x3W LED which will pair nicely with my Apollo 8 LED . I find it essential to get a second LED at this point to be able to stagger at different heights due to my 3 plants having such different shapes. Currently I have been using x2 150W CFL's in an effort to cover this gap.
