Mine has gone the same way as trappers, except when I dug it up again last night it had died :dunno: so looks like I'm out. I'll still be keeping a close eye on this thread though, it'll be interesting to see how everyone manages

Well,
Mine is either going to be the sweetest, heavily stunted, mini bonsai plant...or dead in the next 48 hours.
- Nothing for a couple days, so I went digging and rooting around...saw a split bean with about .25" of tap root.
- re-seated in the soil with just the seed shell exposed to light, got it wet, waited a couple days...nothing.
- Got in there with an exacto blade and took the easier half of the shell off...colydons still trapped shut...
- dislodged entire kit and caboodle and took off the other half of the shell and replanted...
- Colydons began to open, noticed dirt and coconut coir in the "mouth" of the colydons.
- This evening, dislodged whole thing again, complete removal (picture) trying to clean it out...hadn't established any more roots.
- Re-planted again but this time, with extra Great White in the little hole.
- Re-watered.
I doubt very seriously that it will re-establish and launch. But if it does, it will have been properly, properly...stunted.![]()

This is why I like the papertowel method, You can look see what you got for a tap root and put it back until ready without disturbing it. I've let them stay in the papertowel until the root started growing into it, and the seedling had about exhausted it self, were looking a bit yellow. Tap root was more than 2" long! popped it into my clonebox and it took off and is growing well!
:Sharing One:
Mine hasn't committed suicide yet lol, no problems thus far, but it's very obviously knows to stunt itself. Hasn't grown upward at all in days, but is making more leaf. Strangely, it's consumed the cotyledon leaves already, which usually doesn't happen till much much later.
