Indoor Should I expect these to fatten up further?

I'm trying to assess my trichomes for clarity and color but I feel like I just can't see them well at 4x.

i've heard some people say a good way to tell if you are really close is that the buds will begin pulling nutrients from the fan leaves causing them to yellow. Is this a second best way of judging when to chop?

You need a 100 power microscope to see trys closeup. From your pictures they are not ready to harvest yet.Wait until all pistols are brown at least.

Here's what I do.
If you have a binocular you can dismantle/take apart, use one of the ends and it should do the trick.
I have a single-eye binocular that I can unscrew and screw back on and its showing the trichomes perfectly.
You might have to get real close for this to work.
