Does that mean then, @Eyeoftheworld ... you know 23 times more than me?
Reputationally-speaking?

...................................... prod.:smoking:
no!, means folks are showing Eye how they feel about her, I don't see reps as a competive thing, more a recognition thing

dude LOL! ya'll think I am hating on @Eyeoftheworld ? wow, this is why I hate this format. mostly Im just saying what others think of the rep system and why. thats all,me personally? i think its great she has so much rep honestly. shes got that because she a she, cool and a stoner. in a male driven relm generally speaking you'll get hanger on's n so forth is all Im trying(failing obviously LOL) to say essentially. Im glad they are all here and active and do a damned good job they all do that Im personally aware of. but again people think its personal. NOPE ,its a view point Im certain shared with others, but I was only being the voice really. but as I have always said,I am really terrible in this format trying to get my full point across. talking has always been my thing. typing?lol not so much. you'll see soon enough.

I mean seriously? I TEACH THREE WOMEN TO GROW ,about weed and to trim properly...??LMFAO honestly? lmao!!

i was recently informed there another yapping and hating on her i guess.LOL sorry, super stoner moment ,I just didnt see that honestly or dont remember is prolly a little more accurate between the two LOL i really only think they should be separate or some such. i only say get rid of it since it dont mean what it once did. sorta.thanks n all it does. but there are a few different things to get rep for so it really is tough. Thank you

I think it either needs to be done away with altogether or reset with a clear set of rules on when or how much to use it- but can that even be enforced?
Its probably not necessary but for someone new to the site it helps them know theyre gettin sound experienced advice if someone has like 1000+posts and a good amount of rep.
Just my ramblings
There are badges for people too though

I know i havent been here that long but seeing people with alot of badges tells me they have exp, and are usually helpful. Reputation isnt one of my concerns at all. If rep its taken out completely maybe add a few badges in their place?

I think it's so great that we were even consulted on this in the first place. Tough call on the Rep. To be honest, I've always enjoyed slapping people up with some rep, but as a new member I dismissed it's importance early on. It just seemed like one of the many ways on site to give a pat on the back. As a new grower I looked at peoples join dates and likes, as well as the stickied threads and BOM NOMS to seek out the experts. When I cared about having a tangible presence on AFN and I had ambitions of making rank, I figured the best way was to keep showing up and journaling, help the new members, and review whatever gear I tried out over time. After awhile I completely forgot about the rep. So to summarize, the rep to me is a non factor and a waste of time. There's a 100 different ways here to say "Hey Awesome Job On Your Grow" or "Hey Great Attitude" - that being said, it was fun and a nice notion. :2cents::2cents:

Hey bud...hope its cool but I would like to point out some flaws in what you perceive. Join dated and stickies don't portray how proficient someone is on growing. Simply posting videos of good music on live stoners will rack up farrrr more likes than a professional journal. These days very few threads are stickied, I have a grand total of one(and that's over on potpros) and have written multiple growing guides. Bom noms don't mean anything either really(but bom wins kind of do to me)
There may be 100 ways to say awesome job, but there is not 100 ways to drop a personalized comment that only you and the repped can view(other than pm). If used properly, rep really does have a place for new guys to see who is who quickly and easily.
