Well, as the title says. It`s connected to this post - https://www.autoflower.org/f90/early-stage-problem-possible-ph-fluctuation-40419.html

Now girls started to flower and are in day 21. So full 3 weeks.

Soil is too alkaline and probably to hot: 11-8-20

There is a Mg def, which I try to correct by foliar feeding girls Epsom salts.
Looks like some Cal def as well or just worsening of Mg problem. Similar symptoms, not sure.
And then something like nute burn or/and Potassium def. Again - cannot figure that out by myself.

As today or tomorrow I have to water, I Consider Flushing and keep spraying couple of times a week Epsom salts.

Maybee I shouldn`t?

Hey man! I had a look at the linked thread and I think namvet was onto something. The soil is too hot and if the pH is off, your problem is nutrient lockout (toxicities cause defiiencies, too!). If I were you, I'd probably
a) keep watering plain pH'd water and ride it off
b) flush and do a)
Either way, don't water a lot (unless flushing ofc)! I don't see any significant drooping here but on your other thread the gals were looking a lil distressed :help:
Very mild foliar feeding might not be a bad idea while you deal with the soil.

Most importantly, BE PATIENT and listen to the plants' needs. Both excessive watering and fertilizing cause slow growth which is really easy to misinterpret as deficiency. Most of us learn this the hard way. I'm not saying you're far off, though - Your plants look brilliant!

Oh, and you asked about the 10W LED you bought over on the other thread. I've used those (4 pcs) through a whole grow and I recommend taking off the lens. Without it the light is much more evenly distributed and cannot cause bleaching.

:goodluck:

Hey! Thanks!

Well, they don`t look like total disaster, but from my 4 grows this is the worst one. Hard to deal with regress instead on progress. :face:

I think, I`ll stick with plain water for now and try to substitute Mag with some Epsom foliar. And I started to think about Molasses through foliar, but maybe that is bad idea.
By the way - If I decide to add some basic nutes through foliar feeding. Some 1/8 or 1/16 of original dosage could be ok? I`a Hesi nutes user, there a quite mild, like 3-4-4 or smth.

P.S. Do anyone knows about foliar caused nutes lockout: is it possible to lock out other nutrients due to foliar feed? I assume that lock out could occur only at root level, not directly in plants cells. Hope I`m right on this one.

I'm pretty sure foliar feeding the HESI stuff should be OK. Not 100% sure on the lockout but I don't think foliar feeds are gonna do any harm in that sense.

Hi Lefty- :Sharing One:..around and around we go, huh! :slaps: I think it's the soil that's the hang-up here,... Mg and Ca are very robust for availability under even moderate alkaline conditions, so I don't think pH lock-out is the issue, it's those damn pre-loaded soil fert's messing with things! Still, I can't believe it's a nute' toxicity issue either, that usually brings on multiple symptoms/defc.'s,.... I do see tip burn on the newer growth, and stunted size, more ill sign's of soil hottness,... didn't you flush once already? (sorry bud, so many folks lately, I lose track)...if you haven't, it might be worth a try now, even though it's stressful to the plants,... make sure to include some Ca-Mg in the final pour, even some molasses too,... I'm surprised the foliar isn't working better too, after all, you're bypassing the roots altogether, so absorption shouldn't be an issue,... Molasses can be used as a foliar (1tsp/L), with great caution though; that sugary solution will be very temping to molds, so if you do try, make sure you use a little water spreader/wetting agent, or a very mild detergent (few drops/L) to make the solution spread evenly and stick; get tops and bottoms of leaves, and don't expose to direct intense light until dry, and don't do just before lights out; they should be fully dry by then, and make sure air movement is good! After they first round of spray has dried, I often respray lightly with pure water, to redissolve the goodies and get a second round of absorption in,... stuff can only enter the leaves when it's in liquid state,... keep grinding Lefty! :ama:
...Weinerwoods-- :smoke:..good points bro', thanks!
