New Grower Skatters perpetual DWC/Coco Grow Show

Sorry if you answered above, but what is your coco feeding and nute regimen?

Depends how much they drink, earlier on i let the pots dry out a little more to let the roots develop. Right now the younger plants are on full strength veg, older plants full strength bloom. also feeding silica, cal mag, root stim, and beneficial microbes.

The flowering plants are drinking about a half gallon daily, veg plants a little under a liter daily.Either one or two feedings per day

Nice.

I think for even less effort you could run autopots. I've thought about those.

If/when I get a chiller, though, I think rdwc will be just as easy... Just need to get a float valve for adding water into the system.

Any updates? Looking forward to seeing how things are progressing!

Update

The flowering plants are about 60 days old right now, and according to the seed bank estimates they will be ready in about 2 more weeks. The younger plants are 40 days old, and 2 of the 3 are still showing vertical growth. The two youngest critical jack's are both over 3 feet tall right now, and showing amazing structure. Not so much as a blemish on any of their leaves yet, so they seem to be dialed in nicely. The plants are drinking about 1/2 gallon of Full Strength nutrient solution right now, in addition to 5 ml / gal Silica and Cal-Mag.

There is some permanent leaf damage from cal-mag deficiency on the older plants, and a bit of nitrogen claw going on still. They seem to be hanging in there nicely though. The humidity has gotten out of control recently, and is getting up to 65% which has me very nervous. I added a second honeywell fan to blow underneath through the canopy to try and avoid mold problems... I ordered a dehumidifier so hopefully it arrives this week... If I get mold I might die from a broken heart

I have noticed some successful pollination, you can distinctly see the seeds in some of the calyx. In one of the buds the seeds are actually popping through the bud and are visible. You can see them popping out in the last picture of the gallery. They are still a shade of green though. I'm hoping they ripen up soon. I had clipped some of the branches off of the Critical jack which was half male half female. Noticed that it actually polinated itself but the seeds were still green. Regardless, I popped them in water and am attempting to germinate them. There were about 5 that were in there and figured it would be a waste to throw them out, so lets see if any of them pop.

The buds are really starting to swell up nicely. THere is alot of under developed stuff at the bottom of the plant though, but everything up top is looking very nice. They are getting pretty damn frosty, and from what I have heard they will really swell up over these next two weeks. The white widows bud structure is much different from the jacks. It is literally all hairs, there are basically no calayx visible which is strange. My hand doesn't even fully fit around the base of her cola. Just for reference, I am 6'5 tall so my hands are pretty big. I know the buds will lose alot of their size once they dry, but they seem to be a good size considering there is still 2 weeks minumum left (Seedbank reccomendation)

Looking really good! :) Didn't even realize you had gotten a LED lol

Yeah I picked up two little 130w UFOs for some side lighting. I figured there is no such thing as too much light haha. They seem to be swelling up nicely, although I think maybe I will put the UFO's under my MH light to get some more reds under there. It might be overkill on red on that half of the tent right now, especially since hte younger plants are starting to flower

I thought red was good for flowering, ya?

Yeah and none of my plants under that MH are getting any red light. 600w HPS should give the others plenty, I feel the younger plants could still benefit from a mixed spectrum more, maybe. I have read that blue light increases tricome production. Thinking that maybe next week I will put the maturing plants under the MH to get more frosty, and the plants just starting flowering under the HPS. Im still not sure though
