:slaps: Gaahhh!! That sucks
Lyka.. is it a combo TDS/pH meter, or just a TDS? I have an HM TDS meter, very basic, that costs only about $30...this type has only 2 metal prongs and a plastic coated one, no glass bulb... hopefully this type will do the job for you without the pain to the wallet! ... I use lots of RO water for carnivorous plants and orchids, as well as making a blend of dechlorinated tap and RO for the girls- :brow:...
but I'm a soil guy, so I don't know if this is OK with your type system..? I'm not sure if doing this will be better for buffering than using all RO and Ca-Mg,...( subtle differences if the various chemical forms of them in natural water vs. what's in the bottled stuff)... Muddy or another hydro-guru will have to chime in on that,... One of the main reasons for adding Ca-Mg to RO is to give the water some sort of buffering capacity (pardon me if I'm going over something remedial to you!)....it's actually the carbonates (-CO3 ) that are involved with this... without a certain amount in the water, like RO or distilled, it's prone to wild pH swings from even small inputs....
>>> Your girls are looking lush and healthy otherwise,...:foxy: :brow: ... I have seem some physical changes in leaves like this on my plants too in the past (I'm outdoors), but no prob's arose from it,... like Muddy, the wilted, still green tips puzzle me too! ...very odd for that to happen so suddenly that no color change (browning/yellowing) happens, but such young tender leaves can be prone to odd reactions to stressors... physical damage can cause this, but I don't see any other signs of this... it's just on a few leaves? Well, let's see what Muddy's suggestions do meantime, keep an eye out for further symptoms,....
