So i Tried to top the plant and....

So i tried to top this plant and after a few days, this was my resuly. I cant help but wonder if i indeed topped it propperly? Im not sure if this new growth is normal or if i made a mistake along the way. Any assistance or advice will be appreciated.

heya @Yetisuncle and to afn! ...or have i welcomed u in already-? me loze track sooooo ez, haha! anyhoo, new growth will happen anyway at the node above which u topped, which i see there, but ya, it also lookz like new growth comin outa the main stem as well, which kinda defeatz the purpose of toppin an auto, lol, but it can & does happen...were u topping for a reazon, like height restrictionz, or just as an experiment-? what strain is she-? which level did u top her at-? in any event, no, me don't think u "made a mistake" anywhere at all, it'z jus nature bein nature & that'z my 2 ctz
