@keep pounding do you use your phone to take pictures?
Yes should be fine...thanks Rip that will help later. got a memory card with camera too and now working on learning to load to the pc from camera or card.
will that be secure enough you think.
Another option if have you access to a T5 or similar is the new led fluorescent tubes by transcend lighting. Lil pricey but make up for it in efficiency and better veg growth. Apparently you can even flower with them.Thinking of upgrading lighting in a tent I recently picked up, and reading into DIY LED's a little as one thing I'm considering. Have a question that I'm hoping the experts can help out with.
I'm also reading up on the Tasty LED (they're on my consideration list in addition to DIYing it) brand that use the Cree cxb3590's. From what I can see they look like they have a veg mode where it downs the wattage, which got me thinking about veg mode lighting and my plans for the tent. I'm planning on using it to be for veg only plants. My plan being to cultivate a mother plant in it, grow and try out some clones. I'll also germinate and grow through seedling and early veg stage autoflower plants before moving them into the closet to get big and flower. Sooooooo....since the tent would be a veg mode only locale (thought likely a mix of photo and auto), I'm wondering if one did go the DIY route if instead of using the 3500K COB like the Tasty's, to instead get a 5600K, 6000K range light. Of course there is always the possibility that the light might turn out nice enough I'd want to try running a plant through flowering under it one day, so might be better to leave the option, just in case.
Thoughts?
