Only mentioned algae cause I get it in my runoff trays.
Wish i could go 24 hours between watering, every 12 hours or so I'm in there watering.
My Hempy's are just old fashioned 1 hole in the side about 2" up from the bottom. Perlite up to hole, and coco rest of the way up.
Really liking your setup.

Thanks brother. I modify not only the pots, but the medium as well. Not running as typical soiless hydro. I mix a 50/50 coco/perlite base in a 2-3g pot. Then I add 2 cups ewc, 1 cup Espoma organic veg fert, 1tsp per. gallon White Shark and a handful of dolomite lime. I feed with Alaska Fish Emulsion every watering. Seedlings @400ppm and up to 800ppm as they get into flower. That's why I have such big holes drilled in the buckets, and basically an air pot sitting in that bucket. The amendments really add density, and make it act much like soil. I really have to add aeration. The fact that it dries out every 48 hours is great, if you think of it basically as that; soil. However, when they hit mid flower, I will have to start feeding once, maybe twice a day. The smell and taste of anything grown in this medium is AMAZING!

I use basicly 3 mixes, seedling mix, veg mix, flower mix.

Seedlings get 1ml/L calmag, and 2ml/L voodoo juice.

Veg mix, starts around day 14 till about day 42
5ml/G calmag
1-1.5 ml/L AN Sensi coco bloom a+b
1ml/L voodoo juice
Sometimes I'll add a little B52, and if recycled coco I'll add zyme.

Flower mix is same as veg with, only I drop voodoo to .5ml/L and add big bud coco at 1ml/L and Bloombastic at 2ml/G.

4-7 days before chop I drop down to just light base nutes and heavy zyme.
Trying new things all the time, so this will change.

Do you run only Bloom nutes because of the higher N? I know other people just run Bloom start to finish. Have you compared the Coco vs the Sensi version? I was thinking about trying just Bloom from start to finish, but I have so much of the Grow A/B...I also have a little of t he Sensi version Bloom A/B left. Maybe enough to do a side by sid by side comparison. I just got back from the Dollar Tree, got me some little containers (Less than 1 gal for sure and hot pink) but only 50 cents each. I keep decreasing my pot size... Because all the SOG strains I have done in 2 gal are way bigger than SOG! I hoping that I don't over grow my space with the 5 Toof Decay...I am sure I still will.
