I have chopped colas many many times and let lower buds go longer. Just be aware of bud rot as they flush longer. Mephisto gear is frosty and sticky, when you cut branches and flush longer you are more susceptible to bud rot. A week or so should not be an issue tho, but always keep any eye out for akward looking buds or discolored areas on buds the longer you flush.

You are a good grower, just watch your plants. Bud rot starts from the stem, so check those areas if you suspect anything. If ai take one of my Photo strains longer after chopping it turns almost black/purple under the right conditions. Very cool looking, changes the taste/smell often when you take longer and effects. Sometimes positively and sometimes negativity.

Yep i know the feeling and been there although i can say im not sure i saw a significant difference.
Then again cant really say much as i only tried it the once. :smoking:

Ya the lowers have frosted up a lot in the last week, not sure if they plumped up much. Probably gonna chop the rest on Sunday.
