I am using FF Happy Frog and am a newbie . As a result of being a newbie I didn't add anything to the soil . I am now 23 days into the grow and am going 7 days before needing water . I am wondering if there is a way to remedy this so far along in the grow? I just don't want problems late on ! I am using fd's guide for the ff trio and going a week on waterings really doesn't work for that schedule. I have been watering until I get a 10% or so run off... Is there another way to water that will work better for this scenario ?

What size pots are you using? It's not uncommon for a small plant in a big pot to go a week or more between waterings. Once the root system gets bigger the plant will take the water up faster and I expect you'll be watering every 3-4 days.

Thanks Muddy! I think you are correct and I may just be making too much of it ...:face: but to answer your question , I am using 3 gallon pots ... One more quick question though , with my plants being 24 days old is it too late to maybe put some more holes in the bottom of the pot? Being a newbie I made the mistake of not adding any perlite to the soil or anything for drainage so I guess maybe thats why I am so worried about it haha. my bad!:o

Seven days for a plant that size in a 3 gallon pot is about right, so I wouldn't be concerned about it. If it's a standard nursery type pot, the drainage holes they come with should be sufficient. But yes, you could add a few more at this point. Just be careful and try not to disturb the roots.
