soil for auto

Thank's pop22, no need to apologize, I'm open to other people opinions, cheers!

Here is a very simple mix that will work very well for autos and photos. Cook for at least 35 days before use though. You can skip the pumice and rice hulls if you choose. I just do not like working with pearlite :check: Just make sure your soil has a 30% aeration ratio when mixing in either. For autos this should work perfectly as water only tlo, however a worm casting or alfalfa tea wouldn't hurt either..

Starting base
2/3 Part Worm Castings

1/3 Part Fish Compost or leaf compost or mushroom compost

1 Part Sphagnum Peat Moss

2/3 Part Pumice

1/3 Part Rice Hulls

Amendment's
Kelp Meal - 1/2 Cup per cubic foot

Neem Cake and Karanja Cake 50/50 Mix - 1/2 cup per cubic foot

Crustacean Meal - 1/2 cub per cubic foot

Gypsum - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Brix Blend Basalt - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Gia Green - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

Oyster Flour - 1 Cup Per Cubic Foot

All soil issues aside,

Welcome beefy. Enjoy all that is AFN.

eP.

Mix all the above ingredients well. Now moisten the soil by adding water and mixing until the soil is about as damp as a well-wrung out sponge. Now let the soil sit for 3-4 weeks to allow the microbes to begin to break down the amendments and convert the nutrients into a form that the plant can use. This process of nutrient cycling is also referred to as "cooking". Neither heat nor the sun are required, the soil can "cook" inside just fine. You can go ahead and fill up the pots you plan to use and let the soil "cook" in the pots. You can moisten the soil with an ACT if desired to help jump-start the nutrient cycling process.

this is not fully accurate imo.its misleading somewhat.to say cook for 3-4 weeks is off as well as blending the soils in the pots prior to fully blending of cooking can and might cause serious issues.looks like your in good hands man.Welcome to AFN!! and imho Id stay well away from granular componets unless your planning on mixing and blending(Cooking really) your mix for mo less than 4-6 weeks. then youll be very happy you waited. and duggys mix is excellent,A4's mix is good.the few mixes Im using and have used are solid too.so your good dude.you could start with the three little birds mix and simple IS the way to go too man.but a more complex mix is really where the ease of growing comes in, thats why I say Duggys mix you see there.is good for an all around average photo grow or even most any standard feeding auto.so you got solid intel here..

even easier is a soup feeding mix also is super simple.

1.5 CF bag of Dr. Earths or similar ready worked soil and add measurments from 1/4 cup to about 2/3 cup or lime, kelp meal, rock dusts,EWC,perlite, alfalpa meal and bone meal and fish ferts(for feeding ) two types.bloom n veg (alaskan 5-1-1 and a bloom kelp blend) and general organics cal mag or equilibrium work excellent for autos in an organic soil also a living organics soil. and water and feed every other watering with cal mag every other watering and youll be fine as frogs hair in no time. other additives is what makes your rounded feeds in soup or Soils too. your welcome to PM me if you need an iopinion on anything or help with anything specific.
