Alright so I will be starting a grow very soon and will of course share it with the AF fam but it's all gotta start somewhere and soil components is the beginning to a good start so here's what I've been thinking while I've been at Home Depot shopping for drills decided to check out soils so here it is I need opinions reviews if people have done this recipe and what y'all think if it's too hot

Sorry don't know how to add pics but here it is I'm using 5 gallon buckets 1 gallon perlite 2 gallon Canadian peat moss 1 gallon garden compost and 1 gallon organic garden soil

to add pics from your computer~GO ADVANCED when you post a response and scroll down to manage attachments and upload them there or create and album in your profile and take them from there...

The mix sounds fine and is def not too hot, depending on whats level of nutes in the organic garden soil it will get your plants through the first few weeks of life before you would need to start feeding...i would suggest Areated Compost Teas for nutes but thats just my cup of tea, cheap and simple...

If you are growing Autos go with the bigger pots. FFOF will burn young autos. Start in just simple compost layer. You can have your soil mix or FFOF a couple inches below that. Where your sprouts have time to establish before dealing with hot soil.
