Sounds good there's a first time for everything and I'm all about the extracts!!! I am getting ready to take it outta the fridge now,update in a few minutes....peace

After taking it out of the fridge and dumping the water,the remains don't look that appealing,I will follow thru all the way the best I can,and include a smoke report...I would like if somebody/anybody could chime in cause I think this has its place,it just needs to be perfected and since this was a first attempt ,I will be back with another try,,but for now here's a few pics,and I will let this finish evaping overnight before I can scrape it ,the video I saw on the tube looks like they heat purged till all water was gone ,but the "recipe" I found didn't specify....Peace,,now on to finish the eth batch...

Found that recipe, Definately a step missing between listed step #3 and # 4

Yup... He cooked it off.

His post below the recipe but before the vid link says he made some changes but doesn't mention what was changed.

Look at the walls of the pan he is scraping from, compare it to how your pan walls look.

He cooked it off judging by his pan walls

Then look at the unevenness of the top layer when he pans the camera around.

He cooked it off judging by how big the gap is between the high and low spots.

I'm wondering how high he took the heat.

Hi @HashMaster ,not sure how high he took the heat on the video either..With a natural evap the pan was ready to scrape this morning,it's not much to look at and I haven't tried it but I don't think it will melt,in some of the comments the dude says it partially melts,..this is just me talking but for that long of a process and seeing the return,id rather just smoke the DIH !! I don't consider this a fail or a waste,just an attempt at something different,,here's some pics for now and a smoke report will follow

Agreed, not a waste... but....

I think I'm going to look into it a bit more.

I started wondering when he threw out the fuzzy math and then claimed 100% return ?

I'm actually surprised it got to where you could scrape it out that quick.

After you give it a try please post what you find out.

On the return he states, since it is washed in water, the reclaim is still 100% good to smoke,I saved it,pressed the water out and rolled if for a while and let it dry,it turned into a rock(i still gotta clean the filters,some is lost somewhere so its not 100% return...
On the scraping..It was mixed consitency with a little bit of oily areas but mostly is was dry,it was a very small pan so quick to scrape.
Will definately do a report,I will have to try it first thing in the morning before i start hitting the shatter.....
