This little girl is handling Arizona summer temps so far. She’s got a bit burn on the edges and she will never be a giant, but not bad with all things considered. After I topped her she started growing one spiraling cola with the two tops, which I think has been helpful with the heat (taking a cactus-like form). Bud(s) start about 2 inches and goes pretty solid up to 12 so far. Wow that is hot. Do you have shade cloth on her?

Actually I don't have shade cloth on her right now. I moved her under shade for awhile, but she seems to really prefer her spot where she has full morning sun with a bit of shade during the hottest part of the day (which is late afternoon here). I am thinking the "earth-box type" set-up her small stature is helping with the heat. Her sister which was a large Sour D Auto, has not been loving the heat and is barely holding on (no thinks to my blundering attempts to keep her cool).
