I think I may be heading towards similar problems as my first grow this year. As autos progress they seem to (or at least mine have) start looking much more ropey and less healthy. I reckon on these being around 7/8 weeks. I do not recall such issues with the photo plants I grew last year. Plants are outdoors not under lights.
When it is hot I water and feed somewhere between 2-3 days. Last night I thought they looked very deep green on the top leaves despite generally haveing less grow nutes. I calle my organic tomato feed grow as it has more nitrogen. I give 2ml of bloom (Biobizz) and 1ml of organic tomato feed (N-P-K / 4-2-6). This afternoon they were watered about 2pm and fed with bloom and a dab of molasses. (no grow added) This evening I noticed... one pure orange/brown rust spot on one leaf on a bud leaf and a large fan leaf starting to look more yellow along all the serations. Pots are around 7-8L in size and I have been feeding using 1l bottles.
I have auto wappa in 7l pots and 1 x northern lights auto in a 5l pot.
I fed and watered 1L to the NL thereabouts as it dries out quicker than the other 2 cause it is in a 5l pot. And 3L total between the 2 auto wappa.
This is similar to what started happening before on my last grow, many of the very tips on buds got crispy and crumbled in my finger tips last time. Additionally I have spotted some very yellow leaves on the bottom of each plant. I took these off as they looked very dry and a bit dried out.
I thought this might be yellowing because of nitrogen deficiency due to only using bloom and molassses on my last feed. So I fed them a 1l of bloom feed between the 3 of them. (not 1l each)
Not sure if this was a good or bad idea.
I also wonder if I am feeding too often and whether I should be only giving plain water every other feed.
All nutes thus far are pure organic, no chemcial nutes.
I do wonder at this stage if there is a salts build up which I have heard that can happen. I feel this is a very tricky time and am not sure quite what to do.
Any ideas ?
Seems early for them to be dying off/getting decrepid even though they are 8 weekers according to there breeders. The buds are developing but I feel they have quite a long time to go. The auto wappa has a reasonable amount of rtichs and the NL fewer (I think that is also strain related) The auto wappas pistils are browning and very few are browning with the Northern lights so they are far from ripe yet.
Thanks I will try and get some pictures up very soon of the problem areas of the plants and a pic so you can gaugae size of plant etc. If someone could pop in instructions on how to upload photos that would be great ! Can they be hosted on site or do they have to be hosted off site and linked to. I have never uploaded pics here.
