So here is a TENTATIVE Feeding schedule. I am happy with this so far! So happy that I will use this as my base moving forward with MC. I am confident that it works. Now we need to TWEAK things next round to see if different combinations effect the plants. For example, next Round I will try higher MC and slightly lower Calmag. So, here is what I suggest for Coco, Cobs, and MC so far. I use small pots and feed very often. I believe that most people are starving their plants by not feeding for 7-10 days... especially in Coco. I am using 2g per gal of Calmag pro at this strength. This is my fist time using MC, and may adjust levels if needed. I need a base for experimenting. If you constantly change things there is not as much merit to the experiment. I am using a pH range of 5.9-6.3.

I want to briefly explain my method and rationale for why I suggest starting plants in Coco this way. Starting with good Clean Coco is like a blank slate. I treat it like hydro, but with. MORE CALMAG. Coco needs more, Autos need more, and Cobs make plans to need more. So I suggest precharging with 1/2 strength NUTES, but FULL strength Calmag. Coco is like a sponge, water the OUTER edges when waterings seedlings. The roots SEEK moisture. I believe in feeding often and feed nutes from day 1. Because I precharge with 1/2 strength and feed on the Outer edge, you can start feeding strong quickly.

Pre-Charge Coco with 2 MC, 2g Calmag pro, 1g Sweet Candy per gal

Days 1-4
2g MC, 2g CMP, 1g SC per gal
Water very sparingly, I water LIGHTLY around the OUTSIDE of the pot, not right by the stem like many people do. That is counterproductive to the roots. If they look too pale, up the MC a little and keep the rest the same.

Days 5-10
4g MC, 2g CMP, 1g SC
Keep watering outside edge first, but increase the amount or frequency if the plant t is drying out faster.

Days 11-28
4.5g MC, 2g CMP, 1g SC
Start to water to a little bit of run off once per day or so.

So, I have been feeding the flower plant and a few cups to the preflowering girl of.

5.5g MC, 2g CMP, and 1 g SC.

No tip burn on either plants on the higher dose. I will just be looking for too much N. The Flower girl was fed AN until recently, but does look a little greener. I will reduce MC to 5 or reduce CMP to 1.5. I am trying to mimic the AN recipe, but MC has more Cal-Mag supposedly. So adding CMP puts extra N in the mix. Will keep updates, hope this helps. Peace, slow

That's nice review, slow! Thank you. :d5:
I am little worried about 10% N in the flowering stage, I think this is the only issue with Megacrop nutes. Maybe lowering MC and boosting with PK would help. I will wait for all those new journals come to harvest, but I think I will go that way I mentioned.

Can you tell me NPK and Ca/Mg numbers of your Calmag product?
Why are you adding Sweet candy if there's no microbes in coco? Any specific reason?

That is one hell of a nice tutorial slow:d5:

Thanks for taking the time and I couldn't agree more about the watering. And everything else. Your plants look great and it shows your skills.

The NPK is 2-0-0 on the Calmag. I hear you about the N, which is my concern as well. I don't have their PK booster, but you might be right on trying it out in the future. Greenleaf didn't promote anything or try to upsell me on anything. There comment about Sweet Candy was this word for word. "If you don't know what it is, you probably don't need it.". WTF kind of answer is that? I use sweet candy for the increased Mag and is supposed to help with resin/trich production. It isn't going to hurt, but maybe it will help? I spilt some of my Calmag and will need more in the future. So I will grab some of the PK booster and give it a whirl in the future. Peace, slow

Thanks for posting your schedule Slow. Going to be very helpful and we needed something like this to be done by someone like you and other experienced peeps here on AFN.

Going to be interested to see what how you decide what works for N during flower and the grams per gallon. And mimicking an AN schedule basically. I'm using Tangs AN Easy feeding and love it. KIS brother!

No worries Roasty, how are your doing?
Still working off my first gallon of water. Next mix will be your 11-28 day mix. They need a boost. Just a lil light in color, coming along just fine. I saturated both pots trying to use up the 10 day old nute mix I started with, ph rose a tad, still in range so I went with it. Now I probably need to let them dry out for a few days before mixing up the next gallon.

So I went ahead and ordered some Bud Explosion. That will be the only other item I buy. It is a pk booster, I will use it on 1 of my Sour Cracks. I want to see if it makes a difference. MC has enough N.

Why BE over something like Red Line which I see a few people using? Going to be placing my next order shipment soon and it will have all the non MC stuff in it. CMP. Sweet Candy. And either Redline or BE I think.
