Mephisto Genetics Sour Orange Livers nute line battle. MEGA CROP vs AN with Air injection

I never had good results with Coco and Organic with small pots. Even 2 gal is too small for Organics and Coco. The plants run out of steam halfway through.
Oh I've been there, can't beat the salts in coco for yield.

Plants are looking great slow! Thanks for experimenting and sharing, helps us all a bunch.:bighug:

So I started a couple beans in coco, precharged with 3g MC and 1g com, both look hungry yet one has burnt tips. Maybe too strong for babies? Should I dilute the water to soften the burn? It is very mild, so not too worried.

Keep up the great growing.:d5:

No prob Roasty, my pleasure to share. What kind of Coco? RO water? What strains? How old are they? Mine had light tips on a few leafs at 3g MC and 1g CM. Not burnt like nute burn, and the leaves we're lighter in color with slight Mag def. Once I upped it to 4.5 and 2g it went away. The Sour Crack girls were fed stronger from day 1 and looked perfect from day 1. BTW, what is your pH? I find my pH is close to 5.95-6.0 with the 4.5g, 2g and 1g SC. I had to adjust at 3g and 1g.

Miller's premium coir block is the brand of coco, just a generic 5 kilo brick. Rinsed well and soaked in precharged RO water for a bit. Rung it out and loaded the pots. When I mixed up the MC/cmp the ph was around 6, use drops and got a nice yellow, which is where I like it for coco. Got a 2 gallon coco Autopot with airdome with GWK. That's the one with burnt tips on first set of leaves. Then I got a 2L hempy with a Skywalker in it, that one is a lil yellowish. I believe they are both 4 days old now.

Love that skywalker! Currently smoking on two diff phenos it's very potent checks most boxes and I'm new.
I'm very intrigued to try coco. So the thing is-if feeding in coco use small pots or the plants will get too big? That's why you guys run .5g pots? Seems like a lot of time spent feeding?

I have to water twice a day in my 1/2G Hempy's, well my 2G Hempy's need it twice a day too. Slow is smart and auto feeds his. But yeah anything more than 2-2.5G of coco is a waste, plants get pretty big in 2G.

Yes most Autos get very large in 2 gal pots in my experience. Small pots require more attention, but the plants grow fast. I like turning over strains fast and can put more plants in smaller pots in flower. And you are right, moat of the time you wind up watering Coco multiple times per day in 2 gal pots as well.

That is possible, the Skywalker was getting leggy, so I moved her closer for a day or two. Then she looked yellow/green and the first set of leaves are all wavy.
I can throw up a pic if it's ok with you.

Sure Roasty, we are all here to learn from each other.
Right on brotha, :d5:

Well here they are, start with Skywalker in 2L, she actually looks a lot better today after lowering her from the light, so...

And here is GWK in a 2G Autopot, also looking better today. It's weird, doing nothing is working. Haha. :eyebrows:
